About Andrea Aming
Andrea Aming, PT DPT is Clinic Director at Spero Rehab Central. Drea earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas State University in 2020, and is originally from the border town of Eagle Pass, Texas.
Drea has a special passion for “northo,” a blend of orthopedic and neurological care, and is an advocate for community integration and adaptive sports.
Over the past few years, she has gained invaluable experience across various settings, including inpatient rehab, home health, outpatient orthopedics, and neuro rehab. Drea is also dry needling certified and eager to expand her expertise in areas such as Parkinson's, vestibular health, pelvic health, and education.
Drea actively supports Texas State University by serving as a clinician for practicals, participating in DPT interviews and panel discussions, supervising at the Texas State clinic, and engaging in research.
In her free time, she loves exploring Austin's music scene, foods and coffee shops, in addition to latin and country dancing. Her joys include spending time with family, exploring photography, music with her keyboard and ukulele, and enjoying outdoor adventures, fitness activities, and hikes.
